Three Weekends, Three Completely Different Shows! Mercury Players Theatre presents dozens of local artists in a three-weekend Festival of Plays. Join us for our homegrown brew of original and published masterpieces. We crack open our vaults to present some of our old classics, and bring out some new titles that will never have a chance to see a full scale production in this area! David Mamet, Craig Lucas, August Wilson pair up with the local talents of Doug Reed, Kat and Andrew, and Rob Matsushita.

Wanton Joy by George Gonzalez

Love has always been hard to find, but when you're unlucky, sexually ambiguous, hate almost everyone, and are obsessed with your mother, it's damn near impossible. Take a page out of Louis Crespo's life in this late night comedy and find joy and solace in the fact that you're nothing like him...then again, maybe you are.

Homeland by Douglas Holtz

Local playwright Douglas Holtz (Loving More, 2003) returns this year to Mercury Players with a new script! An average suburban housewife is thrust into a world of deception and revolutionary revolt to protect her name and her very life. A disturbing and hilarious look at America's future, where even the Atkins Diet is a government conspiracy. A shadowy one-act comedy.
